What we do

We help women on low incomes get back to work by dressing them in a complete outfit of smart clothes to wear to their interview and by giving them one-to-one interview training. A professional outfit followed by careful interview preparation transforms our clients' self-confidence and gives them a far greater chance of succeeding. One in two of the women we help gets the job.

Most of our clients have been out of work for more than a year, and 45% are single parents. Many women come to us from refuges and homeless shelters, and some are ex-offenders and former drug users.

Interview clothes

Each client is dressed by trained stylists in smart, high quality clothes to wear to her job interview. We have a large selection of extremely nice clothes donated by professional women and generous retailers to fit all shapes and sizes. Interview training

After her dressing appointment each client is offered a half hour conversation with a professional woman with a background in recruitment or senior management. This volunteer helps the client prepare for her interview and overcome her anxieties, ensuring she can talk confidently about herself and her skills and show future employers she has the ability to do the job.
