Dress for Success runs a number of programmes throughout the year to help women improve their chances of getting a job.
We offer the following programmes in addition to our dressing and interview training programmes:
Dress for Success Open House A Monday afternoon drop-in advice session for women who need extra help with their CV, career choices and job applications.
Professional Women's Group (PWG) A networking group that meets on the first Wednesday of the month at Dress for Success. The PWG is for former clients who are now back at work to help them make friends and learn new skills.
The Breakfast Club A weekly programme designed to help clients stay motivated in their job search, build confidence, and learn about the corporate world. The Breakfast Club takes place in a corporate setting over a period of 8-10 weeks and is run jointly with a Dress for Success corporate partner.
Professional Development Day Dress for Success clients spend a day in a corporate setting where they meet other professional women and receive expert advice to help them with their job search via a series of workshops.
Professional Friend Programme A mentoring scheme to help clients who need the on-going support of another professional woman to help them stay on track with their job search and progress with their career.
Motivational Workshops We run motivational and confidence building workshops for groups of young women in schools, prisons and other settings. Designed to prepare young women for the world of work, clients learn how to present themselves professionally to a prospective employer.
Career Sessions We offer one-to-one career advice sessions to clients who need extra help to refine their job search and improve their CV.
